What is Vinyasa Flow Yoga?

Vinyasa means "breath-synchronized movement," or moving with your breath.
This means that poses flow from one to another on either an inhale or an exhale.

Fundamental poses like Trikonasana (Triangle) and Konasana (Side Angle)
are practiced in classes frequently so you can start to "build" the poses.
With practice you will see changes in your body. You will also become aware
that certain poses are easier or harder than originally anticipated. Honor your body,
listen to your breath and as you master these two skills you become aware.
And awareness is often bliss.

Challenging and restorative poses are also practiced. Often these poses are chosen
in a variety of sequences allowing the classes to be slightly different and fresh.
New ideas and suggestions for your "stretch" of the day can make you feel alive.
